The mortuary was founded in the 30s by Bill Claire and operated as the Claire Mortuary. In 1946, James and Louise Kahler purchased the business and changed the name to the Kahler Mortuary. In 1976, John and Mary Dolce bought the mortuary from the Kahlers and changed the name to Kahler-Dolce Mortuary. We continue to operate in our original location in downtown Papillion.
